Role: Informatica MDM Architect

Location Irving, TX (Hybrid 3 Days/Week Onsite)

We are seeking an experienced Informatica MDM Architect to lead the design, implementation, and support of enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) solutions.

This role will be responsible for designing and implementing Person/Customer, Member/Account, Organization, and Contact master data domains, establishing data governance standards, configuring match and merge rules, managing golden records, and integrating master data with enterprise applications and downstream systems.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Informatica MDM architecture, data integration, data quality, governance, and enterprise-scale master data implementations.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end design and implementation of Informatica MDM solutions.
  • Design and implement Person, Customer, Member, Account, Organization, Contact, and Party master data domains.
  • Define and configure business entities, relationships, hierarchies, crosswalks, survivorship, trust scoring, validation, and golden record management.
  • Design and implement data quality, data governance, and stewardship processes.
  • Develop batch, API-based, and event-driven integration solutions.
  • Publish and synchronize master data across enterprise applications, databases, APIs, data warehouses, and downstream systems.
  • Design data integration architectures leveraging Informatica tools and enterprise integration platforms.
  • Configure duplicate detection, match and merge rules, and data stewardship workflows.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to define MDM strategy, architecture, and governance standards.
  • Support security, RBAC, environment management, CI/CD, release processes, and production support.
  • Troubleshoot complex data quality, matching, integration, and performance issues.
  • Create architecture documents, technical designs, implementation artifacts, and best practices documentation.
  • Mentor development teams and provide guidance on MDM architecture and data governance initiatives.

Educational Qualifications

  • BE / BTech / ME / MTech / BSc / MSc or equivalent degree.
  • Informatica certifications are preferred.

Required Skills

Mandatory Skills

  • Min 10+ years of overall IT experience with strong expertise in Master Data Management.
  • Min 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing Informatica MDM solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Informatica MDM architecture, configuration, and implementation.
  • Experience designing and implementing Customer, Member, Account, Contact, Organization, or Party master data domains.
  • Expertise in Match & Merge, Survivorship, Trust Framework, Data Stewardship, Crosswalk Management, and Golden Record creation.
  • Experience integrating MDM platforms with enterprise applications using REST APIs, web services, ETL, messaging, or event-driven architectures.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL, data modeling, metadata management, and data governance.
  • Experience with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), Informatica MDM Hub, Reference Data Management, or related Informatica products.
  • Experience working with Kafka, MQ, or similar enterprise messaging platforms.
  • Experience designing scalable data integration solutions and enterprise data flows.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
