    Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Lead
    Location: Houston, TX 77032
    Pay Rate: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
    Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
    Bonus: $3,500 Annual Bonus
    Job Type: Full-Time


    Job Summary
    We are seeking a dependable and organized Shipping & Receiving Lead to oversee our warehouse logistics and daily office support operations. In this role, you will manage everything from inventory tracking and forklift operation to customs coordination and customer service. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who can seamlessly transition between warehouse management and administrative tasks to maintain efficient daily operations.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Logistics & Warehousing: Drive and maintain the forklift to safely load and unload products. Handle all duties related to processing, organizing, and packaging products.
    • Shipping & Delivery: Drop off products at shipping stores or customer warehouses. Track the status of inbound materials and shipments.
    • Brokerage & Customs Coordination: Work directly with brokerage and logistical companies to arrange customs clearance, transport, delivery, and storage of goods.
    • Inventory Management: Conduct comprehensive physical inventory checks on a monthly basis. Utilize SOS Inventory software to track and manage stock levels accurately.
    • Administrative & Office Support: Keep office business files organized and maintain document filing systems. Answer phone calls and provide high-quality customer service.
    • Sales Support: Assist the sales team with prep work and logistics for various trade shows and events.
    • Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing warehouse and office cleaning duties, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting, and disposing of trash.
    • Operational Flexibility: Assist with any other office or warehouse tasks required to sustain smooth daily operations. The company may assign additional duties and responsibilities as needed.


    Qualifications and Requirements

    • Background Check: Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
    • Experience: Proven experience in a shipping, receiving, or warehouse lead role.
    • Equipment: Certified or highly proficient in operating and maintaining a forklift.
    • Logistics: Strong experience working with logistical companies and freight forwarders, including knowledge of customs clearance processes.
    • Software: Proficiency with inventory management software, specifically SOS Inventory.
    • Administrative: Excellent organizational skills with experience handling physical and digital business files.
    • Communication: Strong communication and customer service skills for handling phone calls and client interactions.
    • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks, including cleaning and facility upkeep.
    • Travel: Valid non-CDL Drivers license. Box Truck driving experience preferred.
