Responsibilities

About the Role

The R&D Documentation Specialist plays a critical role in supporting food development and manufacturing by delivering accurate, timely technical documentation to internal teams and external customers. This role partners closely with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Sales, Packaging, IT, and EHS to ensure product documentation and customer specifications meet regulatory requirements, company standards, and customer expectations. You’ll also own the process for initiating and maintaining customer portals for our B2B business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate and timely technical, quality, and regulatory documentation to B2B stakeholders, including Sales, Graphics, Packaging, EHS, and external customers.
  • Maintain and update quality and regulatory documentation used in customer communications.
  • Gather, validate, and enter product, quality, and regulatory information into customer portals and documentation systems.
  • Own the setup and ongoing maintenance of customer portals in partnership with IT.
  • Review and compare package graphics against product specifications and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Respond to technical inquiries with clear, accurate, and customerfocused information.
  • Stay current on customer requirements and evolving documentation standards.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in the food industry; quality or regulatory experience is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with documentation tools such as Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat, along with strong database skills.
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical, scientific, and regulatory information both in writing and verbally.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to partner effectively with crossfunctional teams and external customers.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for finding better ways to meet customer needs.
The pay range for this position is $26.11 to $35.51 per hour.Qualifications:
