Job description

Responsibilities

Peraton is currently hiring a CNMF Deputy Technical Lead / Functional Manager for its U.S. Cyber Command program. This position is full-time and on-site in the Fort Meade, MD area.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as deputy technical lead for contractor personnel supporting CNMF mission area
  • Serve as first-line manager for assigned Peraton personnel
  • Serve as alternate on-site point of contact for CNMF government mission customers
  • Support technical lead in providing technical and administrative supervision for Peraton and subcontractor personnel
  • Support technical lead in briefing senior government and military personnel regularly on both mission and contract status
  • Support technical lead in coordinating contract deliverables (e.g., monthly status reports, trip reports, etc.)
  • Support technical lead in facilitating contract staffing (e.g., interviews, hiring decisions, onboarding, etc.)
  • Assist technical lead with developing strategy for overall management and growth of team

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years' experience
  • 5+ years of experience managing cyber teams
  • 10+ years of experience performing Cyberspace Analysis, Fires (Targets) Analysis, Intelligence Analysis, Planning, Operations Engineering, and/or Project Management tasks
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills; excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Must possess an active TS/SCI with Poly security clearance 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in cyber operations
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
  • Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Active DoD 8140/DoD 8570 IAM Level III certification
  • Previous experience supporting CNMF mission

Target Salary Range$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
