Guidewire PolicyCenter And Digital Test Lead Contractor

Job Client: EY Location: Remote role

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Test Lead with a strong background in Guidewire PolicyCenter and Guidewire Digital (Jutro/Portal) to lead QA efforts for large-scale insurance implementations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining the test strategy, managing testing teams, and ensuring quality delivery of integrated PolicyCenter and Digital platform applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead testing efforts for Guidewire PolicyCenter and Guidewire Digital Portal/Jutro implementations.
  • Define and maintain comprehensive test strategy, test plan, and test cases.
  • Oversee end-to-end functional, integration, regression, and UI testing across PolicyCenter and Digital modules.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure complete test coverage.
  • Work closely with automation teams to define reusable test scenarios.
  • Track test progress, defects, and drive timely resolution in JIRA/ALM.
  • Guide and mentor a team of onshore/offshore QA analysts and testers.
  • Provide status reports and participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter testing (functional/UI/backend).
  • 2+ years of experience with Guidewire Digital Portal or Jutro front-end testing.
  • Strong hands-on in test planning, test case creation, and execution.
  • Experience with Agile methodology and tools like JIRA, Zephyr, ALM.
  • Excellent knowledge of insurance domain (P&C preferred).
  • Familiarity with API testing (Postman/SoapUI) and UI automation tools (Selenium preferred).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with automation frameworks for Guidewire Digital (Jutro/React-based).
  • Working knowledge of SQL and data validation.
  • Prior experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab).
  • ISTQB or equivalent testing certification is a plus.
