Salary: $32,500 - $35,000 Job Summary The Peer Support Specialist (PSS) provides recovery-oriented services by using lived experience to inspire hope, promote wellness, and support individuals on their recovery journey.

This position serves adults experiencing mental health and/or substance use challenges by providing advocacy, mentoring, recovery education, and community-based support. The PSS partners with consumers and interdisciplinary treatment teams to develop person-centered goals that promote independence, self-advocacy, and recovery. Responsibilities include providing individual and group peer support services, connecting consumers with community resources, assisting with engagement in treatment, documenting services in the electronic health record (EHR), and maintaining compliance with all applicable Kentucky regulations, including 908 KAR 2:220, and organizational policies.

This position is shared between Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) and Outreach Services, with approximately half of the work week dedicated to each program. Outreach responsibilities may include engaging individuals experiencing homelessness and collaborating with community partners to address consumer needs. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED required.

Certified Kentucky Peer Support Specialist or willingness to complete Pathways-sponsored certification training. Demonstrated minimum of one year in recovery and wellness, including active participation in the recovery process. Must meet Kentucky Peer Support Specialist certification requirements.

Preferred Qualifications Experience providing peer support to individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders. Experience working with community agencies and outreach populations. Familiarity with electronic health records.

Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Schedule Full-time position. Four-day schedule (40 hours/week) or five-day schedule (37.5 hours/week)

Schedule determined jointly by the ACT Team Leader and CSP Director. Approximately 2.5 days per week providing ACT services and 2.5 days per week providing Outreach services. This is a full time position
