Pathways is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Finance Department. In this role, you'll collaborate with a supportive team while helping maintain the financial integrity of one of the region's leading behavioral healthcare organizations. Perform monthly accounting for affiliated entities. Process and maintain payee and fiduciary financial records. Complete monthly bank reconciliations.

Prepare and post journal entries. Assist with monthly financial statements and Board financial reports. Analyze general ledger activity and resolve discrepancies.

Support budget monitoring and month-end/year-end close. Maintain organized accounting records for audits. Assist internal departments with financial information.

Complete additional accounting projects as assigned. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Preferred One to three years of accounting experience. Experience with QuickBooks.

Experience preparing financial statements and account reconciliations. Nonprofit accounting experience is a plus but not required.
