    The Role

    We’re looking for an IT Support Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the go-to resource for Help Desk support across Multi Media and its subsidiaries, helping employees troubleshoot hardware, software, and device-related issues. You’ll provide support across a range of environments, including macOS, Windows, ChromeOS, iOS, Linux, and streaming devices, and play an important role in keeping our teams productive day to day.

    This is a hybrid role and requires travel to our Irvine office 2–3 days per week.

    You Will

    • Be the first point of contact for all Help Desk tickets, so you’ll triage them and update them with the appropriate current statuses daily.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware-related computer workstation issues on macOS, ChromeOS, and WinOS to provide direct desk-side support for internal customers
    • Prepare devices for shipping & create FedEx shipping labels. Follow up on previous shipments as needed.
    • Wipe and prepare various devices for reissue or repair.
    • Execute onboarding/offboarding tasks and basic SaaS account provisioning, following established runbooks.

    Requirements

    You Have
    • 1–3 years of hands-on IT support/help-desk experience (remote-first or hybrid environment).
    • Performed macOS hardware support in a remote-first environment.
    • Shipped hardware devices and supplies through FedEx.
    • Familiarity with macOS and Windows 11.
    • A natural problem-solver who enjoys getting to the bottom of things.
    • Worked in an environment where you've had the freedom to think independently.

    Bonus Points

    • Apple Genius Bar or Apple retail/support experience.
    • Experience with ChromeOS, iOS, Linux, or streaming devices.
    • Hands-on with a ticketing system (Zendesk) and/or asset management (Asset Panda).
    • Exposure to device/identity management (JumpCloud, Google Workspace as an end-user admin).
    • Help desk experience on a small IT team, where you owned tickets end-to-end.

    The Base Salary range for this position is $66,000 - $80,500. This range reflects base salary only and does not include additional compensation or benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum range for a new hire across the US for the posted position. A candidate’s specific pay will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the candidate’s job-related skills, relevant education, training, experience, certifications, and abilities of the candidate, as well as other factors unique to each candidate.
