    Job description

    Summary of Job Description: The Brand Marketing Associate Manager (Paid Media) is a key contributor to the company's mission of deepening Guest Love through smart, effective paid media investment. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, supporting national and local campaign planning, managing agency relationships, and ensuring media programs consistently deliver against business goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing agency deliverables, maintaining performance standards, and developing the internal processes needed to track campaign metrics and manage budgets with precision.

    The Associate Manager is expected to bring both analytical rigor and operational discipline to the work, helping to sharpen how Panda Express measures and optimizes paid media performance. This position requires strong cross-functional partnership, working closely with Brand, Digital & Social, Community Marketing, International, Creative Design, and Digital Business to build integrated marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, cultural relevance, and bottom-line business results across online ordering and in-store traffic at Panda Express locations. Job Responsibilities: Contributes to planning and execution of digital-focused performance campaigns across commerce sprints, limited-time offers, menu innovation launches, community marketing initiatives and ad hoc tests.

    Assists in evaluation of national always-on and LTO campaign recommendations and feedback; supports annual planning processes with historical performance analysis and forward-looking projections. Coordinates creative adaptation requirements across platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, programmatic, OOH, etc.) and custom content partners with agency and internal teams; serves as central point of contact for asset delivery to paid media agency, ensuring timely routing from brand, social, influencer, and internal creative teams Develops campaign briefs for digital campaigns that translate business objectives into clear media strategies with defined KPIs and success metrics Coordinates campaign calendars across LTO, brand, commerce sprints, limited drops and ad hoc initiatives to ensure integrated go-to-market timing Monitors daily and weekly campaign performance across all paid channels, identifying optimization opportunities and communicating observations with the agency team Tracks competitors' paid media investment activity and shares intelligence with cross-functional teams Manages day-to-day budget tracking, pacing, and reconciliation for paid media investments in coordination with the paid media agency Creates and oversees reporting processes (sales, mix, new-store openings) for agency partners Supports Media Mix Modeling, Multi-Touch Attribution, Foot Traffic or other measurement initiatives with data inputs for the agency team and interpretation for internal stakeholders Supports evaluation of emerging media channels and partnership opportunities How we reward you: Hybrid Work schedule 401K with company match Yearly bonus opportunity* Full medical, dental, and vision insurance * On-site fitness center, biometric screen, and flu shot clinic Discounts at Panda restaurants, theme parks, and gym memberships Paid time off starting at 15 days with 7 federal holidays* Continuous education assistance and scholarships* Income protection including Disability, Life and AD&D insurance* Bereavement leave* *Benefits available for eligible permanent full time associates Your background & experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field required Minimum five years of paid media agency or brand-side paid media experience, preferably in restaurant, retail, or CPG categories Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.
