We are looking for a motivated early-career Financial Analyst to join a growing team in New Jersey. This long-term contract opportunity is ideal for someone with a background in accounting, economics, or finance who is eager to build hands-on experience in a collaborative environment. The role follows a primarily onsite schedule with four days in the office and one day remote, and it offers the chance to support core financial activities while developing strong analytical and reporting skills.
Responsibilities:
• Support daily financial and accounting activities by reviewing data, organizing records, and helping maintain accurate reporting.
• Prepare spreadsheets, reconcile figures, and analyze financial information using Excel.
• Assist with budgeting, accrual-related tasks, and general accounting functions to ensure timely and reliable financial results.
• Contribute to audit support and reporting processes by gathering documentation and validating information for accuracy.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders in a lean team environment, demonstrating accountability, consistency, and strong attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic background in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Entry-level experience or foundational knowledge in financial analysis, accounting support, or related business functions.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to organize data, perform calculations, and create clear reports.
• Working knowledge of budgeting, accrual accounting, auditing support, and general accounting principles.
• Ability to learn quickly, manage a high-volume workload during peak periods, and maintain a dependable work ethic.
• Comfortable working in a mostly onsite setting and collaborating effectively within a small team structure.
