Job description

Odyssey is recruiting to fill an Acquisition Program Management position supporting the ISR Sensors Division (AFLCMC/WIN) at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. WIN is part of the ISR/SOF Directorate (AFLCMC/WI), which is responsible for equipping our warfighters to win the fight. The Directorate executes a $22 billion acquisition portfolio, developing, producing, testing, modifying, fielding, and supporting Air Force ISR and SOF platforms, and related sub-systems.


Duties include, but not limited to: 

  • Possess the advanced knowledge, experience, and recognized ability to be considered highly skilled in Acquisition Program Management. Must work independently and be able to apply procedures.
  • Apply integration, coordination, and planning skills to assist with pre-acquisition requirements, technical research, and development of sensor systems, subsystems, and equipment.
  • Manage critical aspects of development, production, and deployment, including program cost, schedule, performance, and risk; support contract awards and modifications with pre- and post-award documentation.
  • Handle milestone planning, tracking, scheduling, briefing preparation, and decision documentation; analyze prime/subcontractor earned value management systems.
  • Access modeling databases for analyses, develop key program metrics, and integrate Risk Management Plans (RMP) and strategies for program briefings.
  • Monitor weapon system contractor performance, recommend solutions, and support High Performance Teams (HPTs) to resolve acquisition issues through data analysis.
  • Assist with procuring commercial items (NDI, COTS, FAA-certified) using PBBE, Evolutionary Acquisition, and Agile Acquisition practices.
  • Assist the program office in complying with tasks related to the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS), Concepts of Operation (CONOPS), architectural views, security accreditations and certifications, Selected Acquisition Reports (SAR), Defense Acquisition Information Retrieval (DAMIR), System Metric and Reporting Tool (SMART), security administration, Monthly Acquisition Reports (MAR), Probability of Program Success (POPS), Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES), Program Management Agreements (PMA), Acquisition Program Baseline (APB), and Capabilities Review and Risk Assessment (CRRA) initiation and updates.
  • Assist the Government PMs in the compliance of all applicable statutory and regulatory documents and requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in a related field and at least 3 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 3 of which must be in the DoD; 
  • OR, 7 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, 5 of which must be in the DoD.
