Machine Operator, Weekend Shift

Shepherdsville, KY

Full-Time and On-Site

Position Summary: As a Machine Operator at New Flyer in Shepherdsville, you will play a crucial role in our production process. You will be responsible for operating various machines to produce parts and components according to specifications. This role demands attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Requirements

  • WHAT YOU WILL DO:
    • Operate machine equipment as required for production.
    • Set up machines according to job specifications, including tooling changes, alignments, and calibration.
    • Monitor machine output to ensure parts meet quality standards and specifications. Conduct inspections and measurements using precision tools.
    • Maintain accurate production records, including job settings, output quantities, and quality control data.
    • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
    • Proven experience as a machine operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
    • Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
    • Ability to operate machines and manual equipment.
    • Strong attention to detail and precision.
    • Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines.
    • Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Hourly Wage Rate:  $23.62/hr
  • Standard Hours: Friday - Sunday, 5:00 am - 5:30 pm
