Job description

We are currently looking for entry level Die Cut Feeders & packers to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:
  • Transport the printed and de-stacked sheets from the drying area to the finishing machines and de-stacking elevators
  • Prepare the printed sheets to be processed through the finishing machines, respecting the required drying time; by jogging the printed sheets and introducing air in between they can be processed more easily
  • Ensure that a good feed of the die cutting machine is maintained; solve any occurring problems in the feeding guide of the die-cutting machine
  • Assist the die-cutting operator when and where needed
  • Double check job order information, quality checks, prepare finish job orders by transporting and de-stacking printed sheets
  • Contribute to general order and tidiness
  • Communicate any problems and/or questions with the Team Coach
  • Communicate important quality information to the Team Coach and Die-Cut Operator
  • Perform any preventative maintenance on the de-stacking elevators, clean the machinery and work environment to ensure machine standstills are minimized.
  • Clean the die cutting machine feed and report any technical issues to the die cut operator

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Any experience in printing or manufacturing is a plus but not required.
