TheLight/Medium Duty Automotive Technicianwillbe responsible forperforming Preventative Maintenance inspections, light and follow-up repairs, light mechanical/hydraulic/electrical and electronic diagnostics, licensed DOT inspections, and other duties as assigned at our customer locations.Light/Medium Duty Automotive Techniciancontinues to learnadditionaladvanced mechanical skills and diagnostic Techniques. A successfulLight/Medium Duty Automotive Techniciancomplies withall company policies and achieveshigh levelperformance metrics.
You will work on various light/medium duty vehicles such as F150, F250, and F350, including some specialtyequipmentetc.
Use hand tools, precision instruments, as well as some Diesel tools, lifts, and jacks.
Perform minor adjustment and repairs onvarious typesof customer vehicles, trucks, and equipment including, but not limited to the following: Electrical/Brake/Cooling Systems, Starters/Alternators, Fan clutches, Engine electronics, Engines (gas only), Transmissions (manual and automatic) etc.
Diagnose, adjust, and repair various types of vehicles, trucks, and equipment including, but not limited to the following: Electrical/Brake/Cooling Systems, Starters/Alternators, Air conditioning systems, Fan clutches, Engine electronics, Diesel steering systems, Engines (gas only), Transmissions (manual and automatic), Clutches, Differentials, etc.
Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test instruments such as scanners and pressure gauges.
Perform all work in compliance with organizational safety, health and environmental policies, and federal regulations,to includeOSHA, EPA, and DOT.
Work withsupportteam to assess customer needs, provide information orassistance,resolvingtheir problems, orsatisfyingtheir expectations.
Ability to lift, bend, climb, stand, and walk forlong periodsof time; ability to perform moderately heavy laboring work
Communicates information (for example, facts, ideas, or messages) in a succinct and organized manner. Engages in effective two-way communication with individuals and groups.
Flag Roles:
This position offers productionbased pay, meaning compensation is determined by the tasks performed. Pay ranges from $24.23 to $36.35 per flag hour based on location. The position may also be eligible for additional compensation, which may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of 6.67 hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
