Job description

S&K Building Services is growing - and we're looking for a driven, hands-on leader to step in as our next Operations Manager. 

If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, knows how to lead teams in the field, and takes pride in getting the job done safely, efficiently, and the right way every time-this is your moment. In this role, you won't just manage operations-you'll own them. From dispatch to quality control, training to safety, you'll be the driving force behind how work gets done and how teams succeed.

What You'll Do
  • Lead daily field operations, including scheduling, dispatch, and job coordination
  • Keep safety at the forefront-conduct site visits and enforce company standards
  • Train, coach, and develop technicians to perform at their best
  • Drive accountability and performance across your team
  • Ensure top-tier quality on every job, every time
  • Manage inventory, equipment, and shop organization
  • Track job progress, handle reschedules, and keep communication flowing
  • Review completed work to ensure accuracy and readiness for invoicing
  • Support strong customer relationships through consistent execution and service
  • Jump into the field when needed to support the team and get the job done
Who Wins in This Role

You're a leader who leads from the front. You're organized, detail-driven, and know how to motivate a team while keeping operations tight.

You bring:

  • 2+ years of operations, field service, or team leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of safety protocols and job site best practices
  • Proven ability to train teams and hold people accountable
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • A high level of organization and follow-through
  • Comfort with scheduling systems, inventory tracking, and Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
  • Valid driver's license and ability to be in the field regularly
