    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead all purchasing and procurement activities to ensure a reliable, cost-effective supply of materials, equipment, and services.
    • Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with company goals and production requirements.
    • Negotiate pricing, contracts, terms, and supplier agreements to maximize value while minimizing risk.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers.
    • Evaluate supplier performance through key metrics, including quality, cost, delivery, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.
    • Collaborate with Production, Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Finance to forecast material requirements and support manufacturing schedules.
    • Manage inventory levels to balance material availability with inventory investment.
    • Identify and implement cost reduction, supplier consolidation, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
    • Resolve supplier quality, delivery, and capacity issues while ensuring minimal impact to production.
    • Source and qualify new suppliers to strengthen the supply chain and reduce risk.
    • Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies, contractual obligations, and applicable regulatory requirements, including ITAR where applicable.
    • Analyze purchasing data, market trends, and supplier performance to support strategic decision-making.
    • Lead, mentor, and develop purchasing team members while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions, engineering changes, and process improvements.
    • Prepare and present purchasing metrics, cost-saving initiatives, and supplier performance reports to leadership.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience within PCB manufacturing, electronics manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or another highly regulated industry strongly preferred.
    • Demonstrated success negotiating supplier contracts and managing strategic sourcing initiatives.
    • Strong knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control, forecasting, and production planning.
    • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment.
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience purchasing materials used in PCB fabrication or electronics manufacturing assembly.
    • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
    • Experience supporting ITAR-regulated manufacturing operations.
    • Professional certifications such as CPSM, CPM, or APICS/ASCM are a plus.

    What We're Looking For:

    • Strategic thinker with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate high-performing teams.
    • Exceptional negotiation and vendor management abilities.
    • Data-driven decision-maker with excellent business acumen.
    • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
    • Collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
    • Committed to continuous improvement, operational excellence, and delivering measurable results.

    Compensation:

Salary Range: $110,000 – $140,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications, plus bonus opportunity and a comprehensive benefits package.
