    Job description

    Overview

    Lutron Electronics, Inc. is seeking a senior supply chain leader in our world headquarters in Coopersburg, PA to become our Senior Manager - Customer Focus. In this role, you will impact customer delivery performance across our Windows Systems, Intelligent Lighting, and Commercial businesses. Additionally, you will lead a customer-focused team responsible for ensuring reliable on-time delivery, accurate ship date commitments, and an exceptional customer experience in a highly customized, make-to-order manufacturing environment. In this critical position, you will serve as the connection point between customer-facing teams and supply chain operations, driving cross-functional alignment, delivery recovery, and long-term process improvements. The role offers high visibility, significant influence, and the opportunity to shape the future state of delivery excellence across a global, multi-site leader in lighting and shading solutions.


    Responsibilities
    • Own customer delivery performance and ship date accuracy across the business by leading and developing a customer-focused team
    • Collaborate with leadership across Sales, Customer Service, IT, Supply Chain, Operations, and Engineering in a matrixed organization to align priorities, shape strategies, drive initiatives, and ensure delivery excellence
    • Lead cross-functional reviews to develop delivery recovery plans and resolve customer delivery challenges
    • Own and continuously improve Available-to-Promise and estimated ship date communication
    • Balance customer demand and production levels across multiple manufacturing sites
    • Improve visibility and information flow across the end-to-end order lifecycle
    • Analyze trends and recurring delivery issues to drive sustainable supply chain improvements
    • Partner with data teams to develop models that project future delivery performance
    • Manage third-party logistics (3PL) delivery performance and customer experience
    • Monitor delivery performance, identify risks, and proactively address potential delivery issues

    Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
    • 15+ years of experience in supply chain management, operations, data analytics, or related disciplines
    • 7+ years of experience building and leading high-performing teams
    • Experience in highly customized or configure-to-order manufacturing environments
    • Experience in global, multi-site manufacturing operations; electronics or high-tech industries preferred
