Job Description

This role will be based in San Francisco, Sunnyvale or New York.

At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

About LinkedIn Marketing Solutions (LMS)

At LinkedIn, we help professionals and businesses connect and grow. Within LinkedIn Marketing Solutions (LMS), our mission is to help organizations grow their business through marketing excellence- combining data, technology, and insight to shape the future of B2B marketing.

About the Role

We're looking for a VP of Marketing Science & Technology to lead how LinkedIn proves, drives, and scales customer value through measurement. Marketing science is being rewritten. As LLMs and agentic experiences disrupt traditional discovery, decision-making, and buying, the questions customers ask are changing.

This leader will build closed-loop systems that connect signal, measurement, and go-to-market execution into a single model, helping customers improve pipeline quality, buyer group engagement, sales velocity, conversion rates, and revenue efficiency across Enterprise and SMB growth motions.

You'll serve as a trusted advisor to CMOs, CFOs, CPOs, Boards, and senior GTM leaders, shaping how the market understands AI, identity, measurement, and marketing effectiveness - and how organizations connect marketing investment to measurable business outcomes.

This role combines deep technical expertise in measurement and attribution with commercial leadership and strategic vision, turning marketing science into a customer-facing competitive advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the executive voice and external thought leader for the future of B2B measurement, marketing effectiveness, and AI-driven marketing transformation.
  • Engage with senior customer stakeholders, including CMOs, CFOs, CPOs, Boards, and product leaders, as a trusted advisor and peer.
  • Challenge traditional approaches to attribution and measurement, particularly in complex B2B buying environments with long sales cycles and multiple decision-makers.
  • Pioneer LinkedIn's point of view on LLM presence and agentic engine optimization, helping customers understand how brands are surfaced and represented within AI systems.
  • Build and lead a world-class Marketing Science organization focused on delivering end-to-end customer recommendations across measurement, campaign setup, creative optimization, and data integrations.
  • Define and evolve LinkedIn's methodologies for scientific rigor, including causal inference, geo-testing, incrementality, conversion lift, and unified B2B measurement frameworks.
  • Establish the long-term vision, operating model, and strategic roadmap for the organization while enabling scalable execution.
  • Drive measurable business impact by improving customer ROI, marketing efficiency, pipeline contribution, conversion performance, and revenue outcomes.
  • Connect marketing, product, measurement, and GTM execution into a unified operating model through systems thinking and cross-functional leadership.
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to develop scalable, productized measurement capabilities and testing frameworks.
  • Lead the transformation of bespoke measurement solutions into scalable platform features and native advertiser experiences.
  • Architect LinkedIn's strategy for privacy-safe measurement and addressability, including first-party data strategies, Data Clean Rooms, identity resolution, and Privacy-Enhancing Technologies (PETs).
  • Recruit, develop, and retain exceptional talent across marketing science, analytics, and measurement disciplines.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, collaboration, and customer obsession.
    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications

    • 15+ years of experience in marketing science, analytics, measurement, data science, RevOps, advertising technology, or related fields.
    • 10+ years of executive-level leadership experience managing global, cross-functional teams.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Deep expertise in marketing measurement methodologies, including attribution, incrementality, causal inference, experimentation, and media mix modeling.
    • Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, Sales, and GTM organizations to develop scalable measurement solutions.
    • Demonstrated experience engaging with senior executives and external customers on business strategy, marketing effectiveness, and measurement transformation.
    • Experience building and scaling high-performing analytics, data science, or marketing science organizations.
    • Strong understanding of AI, LLM-driven discovery, and agentic experiences, and their impact on marketing, measurement, and brand visibility.
    • Expertise in B2B marketing measurement and RevOps ecosystems, including account-level identity resolution, buying group journey mapping, and pipeline analytics.
    • Knowledge of privacy-safe measurement frameworks, first-party data ecosystems, Data Clean Rooms, and Privacy-Enhancing Technologies (PETs).
    • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling customer-facing narratives and commercial outcomes.
    • Strong systems-thinking orientation with the ability to connect product, measurement, GTM, and customer strategy into a cohesive operating model.
    • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution and measurable business impact.
    • Proven track record attracting, developing, and retaining top-tier analytical and technical talent.
    • Evidence-based, customer-obsessed leadership style with a bias toward innovation, collaboration, and action.
