Job description

Job Title: Technical Program Manager
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid)
Job Description:
  • Engineering (40-50%):
  • Cloud Infrastructure and Services: Deployments/ Provisioning services in AWS/ Troubleshooting services. Expertise in Kubernetes, AWS
  • DevOps/MLOps: Lead the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for both software and machine learning models. Knowledge on Spark, Flynk, Ray (Good to have)
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Manage and optimize containerized applications using Kubernetes. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to container orchestration and deployment.
  • System Troubleshooting: Proactively monitor and troubleshoot issues across the entire stack, from infrastructure to application and model
  • Gen AI Expertise: Good to have knowledge on Gen AI technologies
  • Technical Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and other technical experts to define requirements, review architecture, and ensure best practices are followed.
  • Program Management (50-60%):
  • Program Leadership: Lead the end-to-end execution of a portfolio of Data engineering programs, aligning them with overall business goals and a strategic roadmap.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for relevant stakeholders, including engineering leadership, product managers, and executive teams. Provide clear, concise, and regular updates on program progress, risks, and dependencies.
  • Planning and Execution: Develop and manage comprehensive program plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Drive the entire project lifecycle from initial concept and ideation through to launch and post-deployment monitoring.
  • Risk and Dependency Management: Proactively identify technical and logistical risks and bottlenecks. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track. Manage cross-team dependencies and resolve conflicts as they arise.
