Job description

Our Work Matters

At Kindeva, we make products that save lives, ensuring better health and well-being for patients around the world.

Why Kindeva?

  • Purpose-driven work environment
  • Significant growth potential
  • Collaborative team culture
  • Direct impact on patient care
  • Industry-leading innovation

At Kindeva, we're more than a global Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO)—we're a team committed to improving patient outcomes through innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Human Resources Generalist to support one of our St. Louis manufacturing facilities and help create an exceptional employee experience.

The Impact You Will Make

As a Human Resources Generalist, you'll play an important role in supporting the daily Human Resources operations that help our business and employees succeed. Working closely with HR Business Partners, Human Resources Centers of Excellence, site leaders, and employees, you'll gain broad exposure across nearly every area of Human Resources while helping foster a positive, compliant, and engaging workplace.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated manufacturing environment where you'll support employee and labor relations, HRIS administration, leave management, onboarding, recruiting coordination, compliance, employee engagement, and leadership support. Every day presents new opportunities to solve problems, build relationships, and make a meaningful impact on the employee experience.

The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, sound judgment, and a passion for helping people while exemplifying Kindeva's KIND Values—Kinetic, Innovation, Now, and Delivery.

Responsibilities

Employee & Labor Relations

  • Promote a positive workplace culture while ensuring company policies, procedures, and collective bargaining agreements are applied fairly and consistently.
  • Conduct employee, labor relations, ethics, and workplace concern intake, including preliminary investigations and documentation.
  • Prepare investigation summaries, findings, and recommendations for review by HR leadership.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and leaders to address employee relations, attendance, conduct, disciplinary, and performance-related matters.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to supervisors and employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and workplace concerns.

Human Resources Operations

  • Maintain HRIS data integrity through timely and accurate processing of employee transactions, including hires, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, status changes, and terminations.
  • Conduct HR audits to ensure data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and personnel record integrity.
  • Generate HR reports, metrics, and workforce analytics to support operational and business decisions.
  • Maintain employee personnel files and documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Employee Experience

  • Coordinate employee leave programs and partner with HR Centers of Excellence to ensure compliance with leave administration and return-to-work processes.
  • Support Talent Acquisition by coordinating recruiting activities, pre-employment processes, onboarding, and new hire orientation.
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, HR communications, recognition programs, presentations, and employee events.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee questions regarding HR programs, policies, benefits, and workplace resources.

Compliance & Continuous Improvement

  • Support the consistent administration of HR policies, employment practices, collective bargaining agreements, and applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to develop, update, and communicate HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook content.
  • Maintain current knowledge of employment legislation, labor regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Participate in workforce planning initiatives, process improvements, and other Human Resources projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Two (2) to five (5) years of Human Resources Generalist experience, preferably supporting manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or other operational environments.
  • Experience supporting employee relations, investigations, performance management, HRIS administration, onboarding, and HR operations.
  • Strong understanding of Human Resources policies, employment laws, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience utilizing HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to analyze HR metrics and workforce data to support operational decision-making.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting a unionized workforce.
  • Experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, life sciences, CDMO, or another highly regulated industry.
  • Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus.

Join our One Team mission of manufacturing more tomorrows. Your work will help create a positive employee experience, support business success, and contribute to delivering life-changing therapies to patients around the world.
