In this role, you?ll make a meaningful impact by strengthening our legal operations and navigating a fast changing landscape with flexibility, curiosity, and a forward looking mindset.ResponsibilitiesSupport the legal team in managing and organizing daily operations including drafting legal documents and business communications, maintaining contract and legal records administration, preparing filings and conducting basic legal and business researchTrack and maintain domestic and international entities, minute books, licenses, permits and other key corporate recordsPrepare entity resolutions, meeting minutes, regulatory filings and other corporate governance documentsAssist with completing Know Your Customer (KYC) requestsPartner with the compliance team on dividend and banking updatesSupport the investment team by preparing unit ledgers and assisting with investment-related documentationMaintain the legal team billing system and help track, analyze and report on the legal budget, processes and spendingAssist with reviewing and preparing materials and applications related to patents, trademarks and copyrightsHelp assemble, review and edit drafts of contracts (including NDAs), leases, licenses, and other legal documentsOrganize and support commercial transactions and closing processesConduct corporate due diligence and litigation discovery and assist with litigation management as neededEducationBachelor's degree requiredParalegal certificate preferredWill consider candidate with comparable relevant experience in lieu of a paralegal certificateExperienceAt least 5 years of paralegal experience, requiredExperience in a corporate legal department, preferredFamiliarity with legal budgeting and entity management systems preferred but not requiredSkillsExceptionally sharp, motivated, and eager to take on challenging, high impact workAble to manage priorities and projects independently with confidence and minimal directionDemonstrates a high level of integrityUses strong judgment, takes initiative, and approaches challenges with a solutions focused mindsetStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and shifting priorities in a fast moving environmentComfortable collaborating across teams and building positive, productive working relationshipsHigh attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high quality workProficiency with Visio, Excel and Adobe Pro is beneficialAbility to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of trustOther RequirementsTravel: MinimalBenefits and CompensationMembers have potential for a monthly bonus and 401k with a company match.
