Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the technical liaison between engineering and construction groups
  • Assist construction staff and project engineer in validating the project design, through the management and resolution of any project discrepancies or issues
  • Validate project design to actual field conditions, equipment requirements, etc.
  • Cross-check and verify project design documents to eliminate design discrepancies
  • Review equipment submittals and validate alignment with project design
  • Assist engineering in gathering field information/data to complete design as necessary
  • Ensure project design database (InterTrak) is maintained and appropriately reflects the current project scope.
  • Assist field construction teams in implementing and meeting project specifications requirements
  • Ensure installation details meet manufacturers requirements on electrical gear installations, etc.
  • Verify electrical equipment compliance with shop drawings and project requirements, as it arrives at project location.
  • Assist with 3D/BIM model coordination and documenting "as-built" information
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another ABET accredited engineering program in a similar field

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Able to track and organize project and information
  • Able to interpret and read documents, such as blueprints, technical manuals, etc.
  • Able to prioritize work and deal with stress

Travel:
This position is part of our national traveling team and may be located at job sites throughout the United States. Expect up to 100% travel at various project locations across the United States.
