Job description

Surfside Laundry is seeking CDL truck drivers who will collect and deliver laundry and supplies to hospitality customers. 


Applicants must be at least 23 years of age, have a valid CDL driver's license, a clean driving record, and be able to pass a full background check and drug screening

This is a OTR Short Haul position that will be gone overnight on scheduled routes.

Position is 40 hours weekly plus minimum of 8+ hours guaranteed overtime hours.

Surfside Laundry, located in Foley, AL, is seeking an experienced Laundry CDL Driver to join our team. This role involves the safe and timely transportation of laundry goods, ensuring exceptional service and maintaining high standards of care throughout each delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a commercial vehicle to transport laundry products between various locations efficiently and safely.
  • Ensure all loads are properly secured and handled with care to prevent damage.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, routes, and any incidents encountered.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly.
  • Work collaboratively with the laundry team to coordinate pickup and delivery schedules.
Requirements
  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience driving commercial vehicles, preferably in a logistics or laundry services environment.
  • Strong commitment to safety and compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet tight delivery deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks as required.
