Ohio Basement Authority , A Groundworks Company, is seeking a talented Field Superintendent to join our tribe in Obetz, OH!
The Superintendent leads and oversees all field operations related to foundation repair, basement waterproofing, crawl space encapsulation, and concrete lifting projects. This role ensures projects are executed safely, on time, within budget, and to the company's high-quality standards, maintaining Groundworks' reputation for reliable and professional foundation solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and supervise onsite construction activities specific to foundation repair and related groundwork services.
  • Manage and coordinate multiple crews and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
  • Monitor project schedules and adjust resources to meet deadlines.
  • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA standards on all job sites.
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure work meets design specifications and company standards.
  • Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to provide updates and resolve issues.
  • Lead safety meetings and training sessions to promote a safety-first culture.
  • Oversee logistics including equipment, materials, and site access to maintain clean, safe, and efficient work environments.
  • Mentor and support field staff and junior superintendents to develop their skills.
  • Investigate incidents or accidents and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Assist with budgeting and cost control related to field operations.
  • It is an essential function of this job that the employee regularly and reliably reports to work on time each working day.
  • Perform other duties as necessary or assigned.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in construction supervision, preferably in foundation repair, concrete lifting, or related groundwork.
  • Strong knowledge of foundation repair techniques, waterproofing, crawl space encapsulation, and concrete leveling.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors.
  • Excellent understanding of safety regulations and ability to enforce them effectively.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project schedules.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with project management software is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

The anticipated salary range is the expected hiring range for this role in Ohio is $61,934.20 - $77,417.74. Final compensation will be based on an evaluation of each candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, demonstrated capabilities, and work location.
