    What role you will play on our team
    • Site Machinist at our Paulsboro, NJ Lube Oil Blend Plant. Work with our maintenance team to execute mechanical preventative maintenance, break-in work scopes, and major rebuild/repair projects.

    What you will do
    Machinist at an industrial manufacturing facility responsible for day to day maintenance activities including, but not limited to the following:
    • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair of mechanical equipment including, but not limited to: high speed packaging equipment, stacker cranes, pumps, gearboxes and motors.
    • Complete/lead major repairs and rebuilds of sites industrial equipment.
    • Welding for repairs and fabrication.
    • Advanced machining and/or fabrication of parts including lathe and mill work.
    • Reading and comprehending technical manuals and drawings.
    • Demonstrate proficiency as permit acceptor to include use of permit form, energy isolation logs and associated Tier 1 Best Practice checklists.
    • Properly account for parts consumed during repair and work completed.
    • Complete other duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor.
    • Work in accordance with relevant corporate safety standards including:
    • Work Permitting
    • Human Machine Interface
    • Energy Isolation (LOTO)
    • Working at Heights (WAH)
    • Opening Process Equipment (OPE)
    • Electrical Safe Work Practices

    About you
    Skills and Qualifications
    • Must possess at least an associate trade school degree OR have equivalent experience as a machinist/millwright in a manufacturing facility.
    • Must have strong mechanical, machining, and welding skils and knowledge of plant operations, specifically around packaging lines and pumps including equipment maintenance, and associated isolation.
    • Must meet the physical qualifications of the job requirements, to include: working outdoors in varying weather, climbing, lifting items up to 50lbs., wearing a respirator, and working at heights up to 150 feet.

    Preferred Qualifications/ Experience
    • Demonstrate skill, knowledge, and industrial experience in all aspects of the mechanical craft with experience completing preventative/break in maintenance on packaging line equipment, positive displacement pumps, compressors, conveyance, and stacker cranes.
    • Experience generating maintenance equipment strategies and planning/scheduling full equipment rebuild/repair work scopes.

    Pre-Employment Testing Guidance
    This Operations and Mechanical (O&M) position requires pre-employment testing. After applying you will receive a pop up giving you access to the assessment. You may take the assessment at that time or utilize the instructions below to access the assessment at a time convenient for you. Note that the assessment must be completed by the deadline in order for you to be considered for the O&M position for which you have applied.
    IMPORTANT
    The O&M test has been revised. Effective December 1, 2021 ALL candidates must complete the revised assessment. Even if you have tested within the last 365 days (passed or failed), if you tested before December 1, 2021, you must complete the revised assessment to be considered for this O&M opportunity. Failure to complete the assessment by the deadline will result in your disqualification from consideration for this position. The assessment is the same for all O&M requisitions. If you have completed the assessment after December 1, 2021, your assessment results will be mapped to this requisition when you try to access the test.
