Eden Health Jobs Information

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Home Health Care professional, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Home Health Care professional, you need a solid background in patient care, basic medical procedures, and often a CNA, LPN, or RN certification depending on the level of care provided. Familiarity with home care documentation systems, mobility aids, and basic medical equipment is typically required. Compassion, patience, and strong interpersonal skills are essential for building trust and supporting patients in their homes. These skills and qualities are crucial for delivering safe, effective, and personalized care in often independent and variable home environments.

What are some common challenges faced by home health care professionals and how can they be managed?

Home health care professionals often encounter challenges such as managing a varied caseload, adapting to different home environments, and working independently without immediate on-site support. Effective time management, strong communication with both clients and multidisciplinary teams, and ongoing professional development can help address these challenges. Building rapport with patients and their families is also essential for delivering high-quality care and ensuring patient safety in diverse settings.

What are home health care workers?

Home health care workers are professionals who provide medical and personal care services to individuals in their own homes. They assist people recovering from illness, managing chronic conditions, or who have disabilities or age-related needs. These workers may include nurses, therapists, and home health aides who help with tasks such as medication management, wound care, physical therapy, and daily living activities. The goal is to support patients' independence and improve their quality of life at home.

    Job description

    Contract Log Auditor

Eden Healthcare Management, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented temporary Contract Log Auditor to perform a one-time administrative audit and cleanup of its contracts log, an Excel spreadsheet used to track all active contracts. This is a purely administrative role focused on verifying and correcting existing data entries by comparing them against original contract documents. The position involves no contract negotiation, drafting, or lifecycle management. The work supports multi-state operations in home health, home care, palliative care, and hospice services across Arizona, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Systematically review each entry in the contracts log against original contract documents (digital and physical files).
    • Verify and update basic data fields including full legal names of counterparties and Eden entities (e.g., Eden Home Health of [Location], LLC or equivalent managed by Eden Healthcare Management, LLC per organizational structure), contract classification (vendor agreements, payer contracts, commercial leases, student affiliation agreements, employment contracts, etc.), effective dates, termination/expiration dates, renewal/termination notice periods, and other material terms.
    • Identify and document discrepancies, missing documents, potential compliance risks (e.g., expired agreements, auto-renewals, multi-state regulatory issues), and recommend corrective actions.
    • Utilize advanced Excel functions for data validation, tracking progress, and generating summary reports.
    • Collaborate with legal, operations, and IT teams as needed to resolve data issues and improve future logging processes.
    • Ensure all updates align with company policies, HIPAA requirements, and Eden Health standards for contract management (excluding any California references).
    • Prepare a final audit report summarizing corrections made, outstanding issues, and suggestions for transitioning to a more robust contract management system.

Minimum 3 years of experience in contract administration or related administrative roles, preferably in healthcare or regulated industries.

Proven proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis.

Strong understanding of contract terms, effective/termination dates, notice provisions, basic legal principles, and compliance tracking.

Experience with healthcare-specific contracts (e.g., payer agreements, vendor services, commercial leases, student affiliation agreements) is a plus.

Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle confidential information.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal Studies, or related field; paralegal certification or equivalent legal experience preferred.

Knowledge of multi-state operations and healthcare regulations is a plus.
