    Job description

    Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative. This position is ONSITE Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm at our Omaha NE Eaton facility. As a part of the Customer Service team, you will perform a variety of duties to support the organizational unit, from order entry to shipment, communicating via written and oral channels with internal and external Eaton customers.

    In this role you will provide help maintain and support data for plant monthly financial goals, scheduling of customer orders, provide timely updates to all stakeholders, assist in maintaining OTP/AWSD plant metrics (specific suffixes), and assist in the preparation or revision of ISO work instructions. As part of a growing team, you will also provide back-up for other Customer Service positions within the local department as needed. The expected annual salary range for this role is $56000 - $83000 a year.

What you'll do: In this role: Perform customer service functions for your assigned product lines to include but not limited to; routine order maintenance, accurate/timely order updates for internal and external stakeholders, scheduling/rescheduling of orders, support setting up customer visits, and generally providing a voice for the customer within the plant.

    Creation and maintenance of online order folders to facilitate the plant/customer record keeping process. Processing and/or distribution of Vista/SAP change notices to appropriate personnel. Rejects/Approves Vista/SAP change notices related to general order system maintenance to include order address changes, shipping methods, do not ship before requirements, progress billing, and other customer centric requests.

    Provide back-up functions for other customer service roles within the team. Champion Customer Satisfaction Metrics (OTP/AWSD) to drive accurate monthly reporting to our sales organization. Responsible for rescheduling orders in a timely manner for the purpose of maintaining accurate schedules.

    Scheduling of aftermarket parts orders and any other specified product line orders based on capacity constraints and customer specific needs (using ERP such as AS400 & CRM tools). Responsible for creating/updating monthly forecast data for specific product lines to support the monthly accounting sales forecasts within the plant. Attend weekly production meetings for the purpose of facilitating a real time bi-lateral communication channel between our manufacturing operation and valued customers.

    Acting as the voice of the customer to assure their needs and desires are addressed during the order life cycle. Maintain customer order information within company ERP & CRM systems in an accurate manner, assisting in development of new work schedules for delayed shipments. Work with engineering/drafting departments to maintain/communicate order milestones (i.e., drawing schedule dates & expectations)

    Responsible for physical and digital 5S activities Responsible for participating in all assigned plant specific MESH training activities. Qualifications: BASIC REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Associates degree from an accredited institution in business or a related field, or pursuing an associates degree with a graduation date of December 2026 in business or a related field Experience in a manufacturing/operations environment No relocation assistance is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles Omaha NE to be considered.
