    Job description

    At Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH), our mission is rooted in empowering individuals and strengthening communities. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated full-time Qualified Professional for Peer Support Services to join our team in Morehead City, NC.

    Your Role in Our Mission

    As a Qualified Professional for Peer Support Service, you will provides screening, evaluations, diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, counseling, psychotherapy, crisis stabilization, and referral services for adults receiving outpatient mental health and substance use treatment. Working collaboratively with physicians, clinical staff, community partners, and support systems, this role develops person-centered treatment and aftercare plans, facilitates individual and group services, coordinates referrals and community resources, and supports client progress across life domains.

    This position follows a Monday - Friday Scheduled: 8am - 5pm

    Compensation & Benefits  

    • Competitive pay: $18.00/Hr. - $24.00/Hr.

    What We’re Looking For

    • Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by an entity approved by USDOE, CHEA or CACREP.
    • Minimum of Two (2) years’ experience working with the supported population and meets
      qualifications for Qualified Professional.
    • Must be or have been a recipient of MH or SA or both services in the past.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
    • Valid, unrestricted North Carolina driver’s license; reliable transportation; and current vehicle
      insurance.
    • Proficiency with EHR systems or technically savvy.
