Job description

At Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH), our mission is rooted in empowering individuals and strengthening communities. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Regional Program Director for our Western region to guide the appropriate support services for our clients with developmental disabilities or mental health challenges living in their individual homes. There is regular travel involved in the position to support the region and programs. 

We’re seeking a dynamic, mission-driven leader to oversee multi-site program operations, drive team performance, and ensure exceptional service delivery. In this role, you’ll mentor and develop Program Managers, champion operational excellence, and lead initiatives that strengthen both quality and growth across the region.

  • Lead & Inspire: Coach, develop, and empower program leadership while building a strong, high-performing team culture
  • Drive Operations: Oversee daily program performance, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and strong financial management
  • Ensure Excellence & Compliance: Maintain high standards of quality, regulatory compliance, and service outcomes
  • Grow Impact: Identify opportunities for program expansion, strengthen community partnerships, and support strategic growth initiatives
  • Problem-Solve Proactively: Address operational challenges with innovative solutions and forward-thinking strategies

Work Schedule: Full-time, salaried position. Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology or related field from a college or university required, Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum three years of leadership experience in IDD, HCBS, or community-based services
  • Demonstrated experience in program operations, staff supervision, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of NC service definitions, MCO requirements, and HCBS standards.
