At Easterseals PORT Health, our EMPOWER Summer Camp Direct Service Providers support children and adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in a fun, safe, and inclusive camp environment. If you’re energetic, compassionate, and love working hands-on with people — this is the perfect summer opportunity!

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8-hour days (times may vary)
Seasonal / Summer Position - Required to work June - August

Your Role in Our Mission

  • Support campers with daily activities, personal care, and recreation

  • Encourage independence, social skills, and participation in camp activities

  • Assist with community outings and leisure experiences

  • Ensure camper health, safety, and well-being at all times

  • Help with lifting, transfers, and mobility as needed

  • Assist with medication administration and documentation

  • Maintain accurate documentation and incident reports

  • Work as part of a supportive, mission-driven team

      What We’re Looking For 

      • High school diploma or GED required

      • Reliable transportation & current auto insurance

      • Experience is a plus — training provided!
