    What you'll do

    The Sr. Employee Listening Consultant is a dynamic role where you will serve as a strategic partner to the Senior Employee Listening Manager, providing critical leadership in the operationalization and delivery of employee listening initiatives. You will be responsible for guiding and delivering Docusign's Employee Listening Program Strategy, while playing a key role in re-inventing our key Employee Listening initiatives with an AI-forward approach. You will partner with the Sr. Manager to use AI to reimagine how we can best deliver impact-focused reporting and change management that elevates the employee experience and creates measurable business performance. You will drive cross-functional collaboration with a high-impact team of People Analytics Consultants, HRBPs, and various stakeholders to synthesize integrated insights, design and conduct bespoke analyses, drive internal and external research, and architect innovative solutions that create meaningful improvements across Docusign. You will be highly collaborative, data-driven, consultative, technically astute, a solid communicator, intellectually curious, a fast learner, and able to move quickly while keeping focused on multiple high-impact projects.

    This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Employee Listening Manager.

     

    Responsibility

    • Guide Employee Listening and People Analytics programs and processes into an AI forward function, leveraging enterprise and functional tools to elevate the employee experience and drive business performance

    • Leverage AI tools and Agents (e.g., Copilot, Gemini, Glean, NotebookLM) to develop data storytelling briefings, reports, and dashboards

    • Manage the end-to-end execution of standardized employee lifecycle surveys-including candidate experience, onboarding, exit, and engagement-while facilitating ad-hoc research projects with a strong customer and employee first orientation

    • Spearhead additional employee listening efforts, including focus group discussions, stakeholder interviews, and passive listening

    • Design and execute bespoke analytical projects to address specific business challenges, integrating qualitative feedback and quantitative metrics to provide actionable insights (e.g., AI Transformation Listening, Organizational Network Analysis)

    • Partner with teammates, leaders, and stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of people issues and challenges, identify the problems to solve using data, and scope survey needs for projects

    • Leverage both descriptive and inferential statistics techniques to support each survey project to maximize impact

    • Present program outcomes and insights to high-level executives and large audiences

    • Incorporate external best practices and other research to enhance data storytelling

    • Foster a culture of action taking by building scalable resources for leaders, managers, HRBPs, and stakeholders through change management techniques (e.g., communications and training)

    • Maintain good judgment when handling sensitive and confidential data

    • Perform other People Analytics analysis projects as assigned based on team need

    Job Designation

    Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time.

    What you bring

    Basic

    • Seasoned Employee Listening or People Analytics Professional with minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 5 years related experience with a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent experience

    • Demonstrated subject matter expertise, experience, and passion for survey design, project management, AI transformation, and employee listening approaches

    • Demonstrated ability to translate business strategies, needs and priorities into research questions or hypotheses, and select and apply appropriate research methods and/or statistical analysis

    • Experience with People and HR topics such as AI enablement, internal mobility, talent acquisition, and learning and development

    • Experience using Enterprise AI tools & Agents (e.g., Copilot, Gemini, Glean, NotebookLM) to enhance people processes that boost productivity and enhance customer experience

    • Experience with Google workspace products

    • Experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods

    • Experience with employee listening platforms and people analytics platforms (e.g., Glint, Perceptyx, Qualtrics, Visier)

    Preferred

    • Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

    • Adaptable and comfortable navigating ambiguity and change

    • Advanced degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Data Science, Business Analytics, Organizational Behavior or relevant field

    • Ability to analyze data across multiple sources and distill insights to provide partners a meaningful story that drives strategy, action, and decision-making

    • Ability to work autonomously and validated experience leading complex and cross-functional initiatives, processes, or projects

    • Knowledge and experience with applying nudge theory for action taking

    • Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative work-style with the ability to form relationships with all levels of collaborators to drive organizational change

    • Skilled presenter with the ability to translate complex data into clear, decision-ready insights for multiple levels of the organization, including the C-Suite

    Wage Transparency

    Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

    Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

    California: $146,400.00 - $235,375.00 base salary

    Illinois, Colorado, Massachusetts and Minnesota: $140,100.00 - $197,925.00 base salary

    Washington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $140,100.00 - $206,775.00 base salary

    Washington DC: $146,400.00 - $206,775.00 base salary

    Ohio: $122,500.00 - $172,975.00 base salary 

    This role is also eligible for the following:

    • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
    • Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
