Job description

Title: Senior Program Manager

Location: New Jersey, USA

Job Summary

The Senior Program Manager at HCL leads programs and projects from start to finish. This role uses Agile methods to guide teams, improve delivery, and keep work aligned with company goals. The manager will direct several projects at once and support cross-functional teams to achieve clear results.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Create and run program plans to deliver projects on time.
  2. Use Agile practices, lead scrum meetings, and promote steady improvement.
  3. Track progress, spot risks, and take action to protect timelines.
  4. Work with stakeholders to define scope, goals, and key outcomes.
  5. Guide and coach project managers and teams to reach milestones.
  6. Hold project reviews and report status to senior leaders.
  7. Build a culture of ownership, openness, and teamwork.
  8. Ensure quality, best practices, and compliance in all work.
  9. Review and refine project processes to improve efficiency.

Skill Requirements

  1. Strong background in program management and complex project delivery.
  2. Hands-on experience with Agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban.
  3. Solid leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams.
  4. Strong communication skills with comfort at all stakeholder levels.
  5. Good strategic and problem-solving abilities.
  6. Skilled in project tools for planning, tracking, and reporting.
  7. Able to manage many tasks in a fast-moving environment.

Preferred Certifications: PMP, CSM, or PMI-ACP.
