Responsabilidades
Como Localizador de Utilidades, usted identificara, localizara y marcara la ubicacion de utilidades subterraneas con el fin de minimizar danos accidentales o interrupciones del servicio debido a actividades de excavacion en la construccion. Debe estar familiarizado con las normas, politicas, lineamientos y procedimientos de la industria.
Ademas, deberas:
- Ser responsable de ubicar cables y verificarlos de acuerdo con los planos y planes designados.
- Mantener el equipo de la empresa segun los requisitos de servicio y las pautas de seguridad.
- Cualquier otra tarea o responsabilidad asignada.

- Debe usarse un juicio independiente considerable, ya que la precision de la ubicacion depende en gran medida de como se interpreten las lecturas del equipo.
- Sera directamente responsable de todas las acciones personales y cualquier personal, vehiculo o equipo bajo su cuidado, custodia o control.
- Debe informar inmediatamente a los supervisores y a la empresa sobre cualquier accidente o incidente personal, de vehiculo/equipo y colaborar en la investigacion del mismo.
- Posee un diploma de escuela secundaria o un Diploma de Educacion General (GED) es preferible.
- Tiene experiencia previa en construccion de servicios publicos subterraneos, es una ventaja.
- Posee conocimientos generales sobre practicas de construccion.
- Tiene conocimiento para leer y comprender planos, cuartos de seccion electronicos y mapas de parcelas.
- Esta dispuesto a trabajar al aire libre en todo tipo de condiciones climaticas (nieve, lluvia, viento, etc.) y a hacer horas extras segun sea necesario.
- Tiene una licencia de conducir valida y un historial de conduccion limpio.
- Tener una licencia CDL (Clase A) valida es una ventaja.
- Puede levantar hasta 50 libras.
- Debe estar dispuesto a pasar largos periodos doblando, agachandose, trepando, arrodillandose, empujando, tirando, levantando en posiciones incomodas, de pie, girando, alcanzando por encima del nivel de los hombros o trabajando en espacios confinados.
