    Job Description Shift: 6:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. Monday through Friday and possibly some weekend work. Location: Garnett, KS. Pay: ##### an hour. Manager Name: Steve Morrison (Cell) 620-203-8447 Interview Process: Send the candidate out for a tour/visit to meet with manager. This will allow the manager to confirm that he will enjoy working with the CW. Additionally this will give the CW the opportunity to get a realistic job preview for the position and to confirm that there is no confusion on her part regarding the location/drive/hours etc. Position Summary: Responsible for bleeding, caring for and maintaining the sheep herd. Maintains related farm property, equipment and facilities. Key Responsibilities: Arrive to work on time, work during scheduled work hours and work additional hours as needed. Feed animals daily and provide care as needed. Bleed animals as needed. Will be entering data on the computer. Provide basic feed and upkeep for animals on a weekend rotation basis. They maybe using a lawn mower and hammer/ladder to perform repairs on the building. Maneuver animals into bleeding shoots. Check farm for safety and security purposes as needed. Sweep and mop floors of bleeding room. Listen to and follow written and verbal instructions given in the English language. Report any actual or potential safety hazards to the Supervisor, Human Resources, Safety Specialist or Senior Management. In addition, performs other duties as assigned as the business need warrants. Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: Must have a high school degree or equivalent from an accredited institution. Must be able to communicate, both written and verbally, using the English language. Must be able to comprehend and follow both written and/or verbal English communications.
