    Are you passionate about great food, exceptional service, and leading a successful team? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where quality and customer satisfaction come first? RW Solutions is seeking a Line Cook & Catering Manager to oversee café and catering operations while delivering high-quality food, outstanding service, and exceptional customer experiences.

    • Prepare menu items according to recipes, quality standards, and food safety guidelines.
    • Lead and support daily kitchen operations to ensure efficient food production, quality, and service excellence.
    • Prepare and oversee menu items in accordance with established recipes, presentation standards, and food safety requirements.
    • Supervise, schedule, train, and develop kitchen staff while fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
    • Coordinate kitchen workflow during peak service periods to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
    • Assist with menu planning, recipe development, and seasonal offerings.
    • Plan, organize, and execute catering services and events, ensuring exceptional quality and customer satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with clients to develop catering solutions that meet event needs, budgets, and expectations.
    • Manage catering logistics, including staffing, equipment, transportation, and event setup.
    • Maintain compliance with all food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and regulatory requirements.
    • Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness, operational readiness, and adherence to quality standards.
    • Monitor food and labor costs, reduce waste, and support budget goals.
    • Maintain accurate operational, inventory, and production records.
    • Partner with customer service staff to deliver an outstanding guest experience and resolve concerns professionally.

      What You'll Need to be Successful:

      • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
      • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a high-volume commercial kitchen, café, restaurant, or food service environment.
      • ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification required or ability to obtain upon hire.
      • Knowledge of food preparation techniques, and kitchen equipment.
      • Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation protocols, and HACCP guidelines.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, reporting systems, or similar communication software.
      • Valid driver’s license.

      Bonus If You Have These: 

      • Prior experience leading, supervising, or training employees preferred.
      • Experience with menu development, recipe creation, and seasonal menu planning.
      • Knowledge of inventory management systems and food service point-of-sale systems.
      • Experience managing catering events, client relationships, and event logistics.
      • Training in Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) principles.
      • Familiarity with the AbilityOne Program and its mission.

      • Work Environment: Work is performed in a commercial kitchen and café setting with frequent exposure to cooking equipment, food preparation areas, customers, and team members.

      • Manual Dexterity: Must possess the hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to safely operate kitchen equipment, handle food products, and perform detailed food preparation tasks.
      • Food Safety Compliance: Must follow all food safety, sanitation, personal hygiene, and workplace safety standards, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
      • Pace of Work: Ability to maintain productivity, accuracy, and attention to detail during busy meal periods and high-volume service times.
      • Visual Requirements: Must be able to read recipes, food labels, production sheets, temperature logs, schedules, and safety instructions.
      • Safety Awareness: Must exercise sound judgment and maintain awareness of potential hazards to ensure a safe working environment for employees and customers.
