Job Description

We are seeking a Junior Business Analyst / Project Management Analyst (PMA) to provide day-to-day support to a Senior Project Manager responsible for a variety of electric utility distribution programs and projects. This position will support the Distribution Program Management Office (DPMO) and will combine project administration, data analysis, contract administration, and reporting responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mix of analytical skills, office/project administration experience, and project management support experience. The role requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with large amounts of data, and able to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day support to a Senior Project Manager overseeing electric utility distribution programs and projects.
  • Perform project analytical and administrative activities.
  • Manage and track large volumes of program-level data.
  • Support contract administration, including development of RFPs for distribution programs.
  • Assist with creating contract requisitions.
  • Support contract payment authorizations, invoice review and approval, accruals, and overall contract tracking.
  • Develop and maintain project/program information using Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and Power BI.
  • Coordinate and communicate with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Help ensure project documentation, reporting, and administrative activities are completed accurately and on time.
  • Support multiple projects and priorities in a high-volume environment.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 1-5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, formulas/equations, and other advanced functions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage high volumes of work, orders, data, and competing priorities.
  • Detail-oriented and dependable with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable communicating and interacting with a variety of stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous project management or project coordination/support experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Power BI.
  • Experience with contract administration, RFPs, invoicing, accruals, or contract tracking.
  • Knowledge or experience within electric utilities, utility distribution, or utility construction is a plus.
Work Requirements

Candidates must be able to work onsite in the Newark, Delaware office Tuesday through Thursday, with Monday and Friday designated as remote days. Some travel, approximately 1-2 times per month, may be required for team meetings and site visits within the Exelon service territory.
