Full-time IT Systems Support Analyst at E.L. Blake Corporation in Birmingham, AL! In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining mission-critical systems that directly support operational success. You will earn between $70,000 and $95,000 annually while benefiting from a comprehensive package that includes:

ABOUT THIS IT SYSTEMS SUPPORT ANALYST JOB
You will take responsibility for mission planning systems, ensuring that all hardware, software, and supporting equipment are reliable and fully operational. Your tasks will include troubleshooting system issues, applying updates and patches, and managing data loads in accordance with established standards. You will support mission planning efforts across training environments, exercises, and deployments while maintaining detailed documentation of system configurations and solutions. Additionally, you will provide hands-on technical assistance to operational personnel and collaborate closely with internal teams and government stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently. Your role will be crucial in ensuring system readiness and contributing to mission success by delivering consistent, high-quality technical support in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
Would you excel in this position? Here's what you need:
  • U.S. Citizenship (no dual citizenship)
  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • CompTIA Security+ certification (required within 6 months of hire)
  • IT-related degree OR minimum of 2 years of relevant IT experience
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and systems
  • Ability to support and maintain IT systems in an operational or mission-critical environment
  • Ability to document technical issues and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting USAF or DoD mission planning systems
  • Familiarity with mission planning software, mapping tools, or geospatial data
  • Experience working in classified or secure environments
  • Military or aircrew experience
