Carle Health is seeking an additional BE/BC Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our expanding Cardiology Division in Urbana, Illinois.


Opportunity Details
  • Join a growing team of 10 Non-Invasive/Heart Failure Cardiologists at the Carle Heart and Vascular Institute
  • Our growing Cardiology team includes 8 Non-Invasive Cardiologists, 5 Interventional Cardiologists, 2 Heart Failure Cardiologists, and 3 Electrophysiologists
  • Seven Advanced Practice Nurses in the Cardiology Department work closely with the Cardiologists in all patient care activities
  • Carle Cardiologists cover only one hospital
  • General Cardiology call (every 7 - 8 days and weekend every 5-6 weeks)
  • Opportunity for clinical appointment at the Carle Illinois College of Medicine
  • New state-of-the-art Heart Center, located adjacent to Carle Foundation Hospital
  • Opportunity for academic and/or research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine, the nation's first medical school focused at the intersection of healthcare and engineering

About the Carle Heart and Vascular Institute:

The Carle Heart & Vascular Institute (Carle HVI) is an integrated organizational entity with structural and functional integration of Cardiovascular Medicine, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, and Interventional Radiology. Healthgrades recently recognized Carle Foundation Hospital as Top 10% in the nation for cardiac surgery and best in the region for cardiac care and cardiac surgery in addition to Five-Star Distinctions in Coronary Intervention Procedures, Treatment of Heart Attack, and Treatment of Heart Failure. The Carle Health Cardiology providers, 40 physicians and 21 Advanced Nurse practitioners and physician assistants, deliver cardiac and vascular services to over 40,000 patients every year throughout Illinois and Indiana.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $600,000 - $645,000. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
