    Job description

    As an Asset Protection Specialist , you play a critical role in keeping our distribution center safe, secure, and running efficiently. You'll help protect people, product, and property while supporting the accurate flow of goods in and out of the facility.
    This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that combines security, operations, and data accuracy . You'll work both indoors and outdoors, use technology to track information, and partner with teams across the building to identify risks and solve problems.
    What You'll Do
    Protect People & Assets
    • Monitor building access and verify all associates and visitors
    • Conduct bag checks and support badge access processes
    • Maintain key control and enforce security procedures
    • Observe and report suspicious activity or safety concerns

    Support Yard & Shipment Operations
    • Track and log all incoming and outgoing trailers
    • Control and monitor the flow of vehicles in the yard
    • Verify trailer locations and seal integrity through routine audits
    • Ensure accuracy between systems and physical inventory

    Audit & Identify Risks
    • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly audits across the facility
    • Monitor CCTV systems to identify potential safety or security risks
    • Recognize patterns or trends related to loss, shrink, or operational gaps
    • Report findings and partner with leadership on solutions

    Data & Reporting
    • Accurately enter and maintain logs and records in company systems
    • Communicate issues, discrepancies, and trends to leadership
    • Use tools and reports to support investigations and operational improvements

    Team & Partnership
    • Work closely with operations, safety, and leadership teams
    • Maintain a professional, calm, and respectful presence at all times
    • Help create a safe and supportive workplace for all associates

    What We're Looking For
    Required Qualifications
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
    • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment (indoor and outdoor conditions)
    • Basic computer skills and ability to enter data accurately
    • Ability to stand, walk, and/or lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods

    Preferred Experience
    • Warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment
    • Asset protection, loss prevention, or security experience
    • Experience with data entry, inventory systems, or operational tools
    • Customer service or roles requiring professional interaction
