Job Description
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) supports the Sales Team and customers by providing timely and accurate product and service information. This role plays a vital part in managing customer accounts, resolving issues, and ensuring positive customer experience through effective communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities Include:
- Serve customers and sales staff by providing product/service information and resolving issues
- Maintain and update customer accounts accurately
- Resolve customer concerns by clarifying the issue, identifying solutions, and communicating resolutions clearly
- Build strong working relationships with assigned customers and internal reps
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Provide flexible support to other departments as needed
- Communicate with professionalism, maintaining a positive and friendly attitude
- Maintain confidentiality of company and customer proprietary information
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in distribution or manufacturing
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional phone etiquette and active listening abilities
- Experience in conflict resolution and order tracking/follow-up
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
- Familiarity with order entry systems and documentation practices
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
