Job description

Job Overview:

At Arm, our mission is to build the future of compute and empower innovation everywhere. The China market is essential to that mission. As a member of the marketing leadership team who reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will ensure Arm shows up with consistency, clarity and strong regional insight across one of the world’s most multifaceted, influential, and driven technology ecosystems.

China’s technology landscape moves fast. Key opinion leaders (KOLs) develop perception and accelerate adoption, industry partners influence entire categories, and local developer communities set the pace for innovation. Arm already plays a meaningful role across China’s Cloud AI, Physical AI, and Edge AI markets. Your role is to strengthen and amplify this impact and lead how we engage with key external voices, and partner deeply with Arm’s leadership, sales, product, and ecosystem teams to drive growth.

This is a role for a leader who thrives in a global organization. You understand the nuances of the China technology landscape, can translate sophisticated technology into value, and know how to activate the relationships that matter. Whether based in China or the United States, you bring strong Chinese language skills, cultural proficiency, and the ability to travel frequently to sustain deep relationships.

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead Arm’s China regional marketing strategy, aligning narrative, positioning, and execution to the unique dynamics of the China technology ecosystem
  • Build and develop positive relationships with China’s most influential KOLs and ecosystem voices, ensuring Arm is consistently represented with credibility and clarity
  • Partner closely with global leadership, sales, ecosystem, and product teams to drive aligned and coordinated growth initiatives in the region
  • Strengthen and localize integrated campaigns that promote Arm-based solutions across Cloud, Physical, and Edge AI markets
  • Translate global messaging into regionally resonant storytelling tailored to China’s audience, platforms, and influencers
  • Drive thought leadership and visibility for Arm at key China industry events, developer forums, and partner engagements
  • Maintain a deep pulse on market trends, competitor activity, partner needs, and emerging opportunities that can shape Arm’s strategy and investments
  • Act as the connective tissue between global and China teams, ensuring alignment on priorities, visibility for regional work, and consistency across messaging and execution
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, speed, and continuous improvement that reflects the pace of China’s tech ecosystem
What You will Bring:
  • Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) with strong English communication skills
  • Location flexibility; if based in the US, ability and willingness to travel to China frequently
  • Strong understanding of the China technology ecosystem
  • Tried and tested experience in marketing, ecosystem engagement, or product marketing within China’s tech industry
  • Familiarity with KOL-driven influence models and a track record of activating KOLs to drive business results
  • Strong network and relationship-building capability with China industry partners, media, and influencers
  • Technical proficiency at a functional level - be able to understand Arm technology and articulate value propositions across markets
  • Ability to operate in a matrixed global organization and collaborate effectively across cultures, time zones, and priorities
  • Strategic problem solver who understands how to connect market opportunity to operational execution
  • Comfort working in a fast paced environment where priorities evolve quickly and execution speed matters
Extra Credit For:
  • Established relationships with major China OEMs, ISVs, KOLs, or developer communities
  • Experience activating large-scale campaigns on platforms such as WeChat, Weibo, Douyin, Bilibili, Zhihu, and emerging AI-driven channels
  • Familiarity with how AI is changing the developer ecosystem and accelerating demand for purpose-built compute
  • Experience working with global teams and crafting localized narratives from global strategy
