ANSER enhances national and homeland security by strengthening public institutions. We provide thought leadership for complex issues through independent analysis, and we deliver practical, useful solutions. ANSER values collaboration, integrity, and initiative and we are client focused in all that we do. Because we were established for the purpose of public service and not for profit, we measure our success in the impact of our service.
Position Overview:
ANSER is seeking an Engine Room Forum Analyst to support the Office of the Secretary of War (OSW) decision-making forums for the Organizational and Management Policy Directorate (O&MPD) within the Director of Administration and Management (DA&M). In this role you will coordinate and execute senior-level governance forums, facilitate stakeholder engagement across the Department of War (DoW), and support the development and dissemination of executive-level meeting products. You will work closely with senior leaders across the OSW, Joint Staff, and Military Departments to ensure timely coordination, execution, and follow-through for high-visibility decision-making activities.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate meeting agendas, read-ahead materials, and executive-level briefing packages for senior leader forums.
  • Facilitate meeting execution by scheduling events, reserving conference rooms, distributing calendar invitations, and managing attendee lists and RSVPs.
  • Capture meeting discussions, decisions, and action items and prepare meeting minutes and summaries for senior leader review and distribution.
  • Maintain SharePoint sites, calendars, document repositories, and collaboration tools supporting governance activities.
  • Track, monitor, and report on senior leader decisions and action items using authoritative data sources, portals, and workflow management tools.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across the Office of the Secretary of War, Joint Staff, Military Departments, and other government organizations to ensure timely information sharing and meeting readiness.
  • Provide responsive customer support by resolving meeting coordination and governance process issues.
  • Support continuous improvement of governance processes and meeting management procedures.

Required Qualifications:
  • Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree. Will consider an additional five (5) years' experience for a total of ten (10) years' experience in lieu of degree.
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience supporting executive-level operations, governance forums, meeting management, or organizational coordination within the Office of the Secretary of War (OSW), Department of War (DoW), or another Federal Government organization. Relevant experience includes developing professional and analytical deliverables, coordinating senior leader engagements, and supporting technical, managerial, procedural, or project activities.
  • Experience coordinating executive-level meetings, agendas, read-ahead materials, meeting minutes, and action item tracking.
  • Experience supporting stakeholder coordination across the DoW or other Federal Government organizations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft SharePoint.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting meeting planning, event coordination, governance forums, or executive administrative functions.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree
  • 12+ years of relevant professional experience supporting executive-level governance, organizational management, or strategic operations.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
  • Experience working directly with senior leaders within the Office of the Secretary of War, Joint Staff, or Military Departments.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills with experience producing executive-level correspondence, meeting summaries, and briefing materials.
  • Experience working collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment supporting high-visibility executive operations.
