Job description

Position Summary:
Analytic Services, Inc. (ANSER) is seeking a Strategic Engagements and Communications Analyst to support the Industrial Base Analysis and Sustainment (IBAS) program within the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Industrial Base Policy (IBP). The IBAS program is dedicated to ensuring that the Department of Defense is positioned to effectively address industrial base issues and support the National Security Innovation Base. In this role, you will help facilitate dialogue between the DoD, state agencies, and the industrial base, to improve collaboration and communication within the domestic and global industrial base.
Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Support IBP and IBAS leadership in domestic and international engagements with industry partners
  • Facilitate government-to-government industrial policy discussions with other agencies and international partners
  • Develop written communications products such as briefings, speeches, talking points, press releases, articles, and read-ahead materials
  • Coordinate meetings, speaking engagements, and other outreach efforts


Required Qualifications:

  • Possess an active Secret security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of experience organizing and facilitating meetings, events, or conferences which include attendees from local/state/federal government, industry, academia, and other stakeholders
  • Experience leading and developing written communications products such as briefings, speeches, talking points, press releases, articles, and read-ahead materials
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and at least three years of relevant experience


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing communications and outreach products at the OSD level (or executive level)
  • Experience and/or knowledge in workforce development initiatives at the local/state/federal level, private sector, or academia
  • Experience and/or knowledge of government contract acquisition processes
