Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience:
High School diploma, equivalent or on the job training.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems.

Summary: The following details the expectations of a Decorating Machine

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Visually check quality of print against approved sample (check if light or dark, check if off-center, check if faded or missing print, check molding parts for shorts, flash, strings, grease, etc.).
- Maintain quality of product within your zone/machine(s).
- Load product into lid and cup printers.
- Sort through start-up.
- Pack parts and verify count is correct.
- Stir and add ink.
- Clean blankets and plates.
- Change and trim blankets.
- Start/stop printers.
- Clean color heads, rollers and fountains.
- Set up color heads for next print run.
- Assist decorating technicians with change-overs.
- Check plates, inks, labels and color standard against traveler.
- Clear unload in-feed, and restacker jams.
- Maintain appropriate speed assigned each printer.
- Follow all GMPs, Food Safety, and CCP's.
- Maintain paperwork such as audits, downtime logs and etc.
- Application of printed label to box.
- Any other duties assigned by supervisor or department manager.
