Position: Project Leader – ERP Development & Support
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Work Model: Onsite / Hybrid
Contract Duration: Initial 3 Years
Renewal Options: Two (2) Additional 1-Year Extensions
Maximum Contract Term: 5 Years
Client is seeking an experienced ERP Project Leader to plan, coordinate, and manage ERP development, implementation, deployment, upgrade, and support initiatives across the City's enterprise business systems environment.
The selected consultant will be responsible for leading ERP projects supporting Financial and Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS), ensuring alignment with organizational goals, business requirements, and technical standards. This role requires strong project management expertise, ERP functional and technical knowledge, stakeholder engagement skills, and experience managing enterprise-wide implementations and enhancements.
The City utilizes enterprise ERP platforms including PeopleSoft, Workday, Salesforce, and integrated solutions such as DocuSign, Equifax, Microsoft Teams, Voya, Ameriflex, and JobAps. The ERP environment includes Financial and HRMS modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, Inventory, Billing, Asset Management, Payroll, Human Resources, and Benefits Administration.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive ERP leadership experience, strong communication skills, and a proven track record managing ERP development, implementation, upgrade, integration, testing, and support initiatives.
Experience
• 7+ years of ERP Project Management or ERP Leadership experience.
• Experience leading ERP implementation, upgrade, migration, and enhancement projects.
• Experience managing ERP Financials and/or HRMS modules.
• Experience with enterprise ERP platforms such as:
  • PeopleSoft
  • Workday
  • Salesforce

Experience supporting ERP integrations with:
  • DocuSign
  • Equifax
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Voya
  • Ameriflex
  • JobAps
  • Other third-party systems
• Experience managing ERP development and support teams.
• Experience with ERP testing strategy, test planning, and execution.
• Experience with ERP system documentation and business process documentation.
• Experience coordinating business users, vendors, technical teams, and leadership stakeholders.
• Experience managing ERP system upgrades and production releases.
• Public Sector or Government ERP experience preferred.
