Job description

Job Summary:
Abacus Service Corporation is seeking a skilled Applications Development Analyst to join their team in beautiful Tallahassee, FL. This role involves developing, deploying, and maintaining applications that support the Division of Telecommunications' voice and network services, collaborating with a dynamic team to drive innovation and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain applications supporting telecommunications services.
• Collaborate with internal staff and external customers for application enhancements.
• Provide technical support for application migration and security.
• Document technical work in a standard project format.
• Participate in team meetings and facilitate effective communication.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Five years or more of experience as a program designer and implementer.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as TypeScript, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, SOAP/XML, and PL/SQL.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to pass Background Screening and Security Requirements.
Preferred:
• Experience with enterprise application operation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of AJAX, REST, UNIX, LINUX, Boot Strap, and ReactJS.
• Problem-solving skills with attention to detail and creativity.
• Ability to work collaboratively and foster team interaction.
