As part of the largest manufacturing site in North America, with nearly 2,000 employees plant-wide, this team plays a vital role in our production process. Their precision and expertise ensure that our products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. Their contributions are essential to maintaining ZF's reputation as a leader in the automotive industry.

What you can look forward to as a Manufacturing Engineer:

  • Lead changes to enhance the machine functionality.
  • Lead projects to continuously improve and upgrade equipment.
  • Lead complex projects to troubleshoot and solve errors and problems on production equipment.
  • Analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements, workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
  • Participate in departmental meetings.
  • Confer with manufacturing engineers and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.
  • Validate the development of product specifications for the purchase of equipment, materials, tooling, fixturing or parts, according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Consult the engineering team about potential suppliers for production equipment, tooling and fixturing and contributes to the final technical choice. 

Your profile as a Manufacturing Engineer:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer and experience leading technical projects.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with customer communication systems.
  • Experience with engineering change systems.
