Yellowstone Club’s Residential Services department is currently seeking candidates for an Assistant Property Manager for the upcoming Winter season! Our Winter employment months are November – April.


The purpose of the Assistant Property Manager is to assist primary Property Managers in administering best-in-class care to Members’ residences. The duty of the Assistant Property Manager is to aid primary Property Managers in maintaining properties and implementing Yellowstone Club policies, procedures, and systems that ensure a well-managed, well-maintained residence through established management, operations, fiscal policies, and outstanding hospitality. Assistant Property Managers must effectively communicate with teammates, Members, and contractors.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that each Member and guest receives outstanding guest service in a guest friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every Member and guest, maintaining outstanding service standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest service.
  • Empowered to guarantee total guest satisfaction, display hospitality and professionalism to our guests at all times, take pride in representing Yellowstone Club professionally with our Members and guests and assure that all transactions with guests are handled in a legal and ethical manner.
  • Understand and apply all property safety and security procedures to maintain a secure and safe environment for employees, Members, and guests at all times. In the event of an accident or emergency, seek medical attention if necessary and contact your direct manager, the Director of Property Management, or Human Resources immediately.
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a positive working environment.


Essential Job Functions:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Completion of assigned preventative maintenance and manual labor-oriented tasks as assigned by senior staff.
  • Effectively take direction from primary Property Managers and Operation Managers.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with clients.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with employees and clients via email and phone.
  • Cultivate and maintain quality relationships with teammates, owners, vendors, and contractors to ensure positive current and future business relations.
  • Perform routine inspections of residences to ensure that the homes are in a constant state of readiness.
  • Assist in maintaining and delivering specific Member/guest preferences.
  • Ability to respond to Member issues and complaints and coordinate responses in a timely and professional fashion.
  • Ensure that all work is carried out in a consistent, professional, timely, and cost-efficient manner.


Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to and monitor preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain proper control of materials, tools, and supplies.
  • Ability to effectively assess Member/residence issues and resolve the issue in a professional and timely manner.
  • Complete minor maintenance repairs and troubleshooting when appropriate.
  • Quickly gain the experience and knowledge to detect and remedy warning signs of larger issues.
  • Meet departmental productivity, organization, punctuality/attendance, and consistency standards.
  • Treat Members, guests, vendors, customers and co-workers with professionalism and respect at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and neat appearance at all times.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with all employees, supervisors, managers, directors, & VPs.
  • Perform work in a safe and high-quality manner.
  • Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
  • Consistently attend and contribute to regular staff meetings.
  • Assist in maintaining functionality of homes and systems as outlined by home manuals and training materials.
  • Maintain privacy of Members and guests at all times.
  • Project a favorable image of Yellowstone Club at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and neat appearance at all times.
  • Perform work in a safe and high-quality manner.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with all employees, supervisors, managers, directors, and VPs.
  • Maintain a positive and respectful attitude at all times.

Experience/Education Required

  • 6 months of hospitality and/or related customer service experience.
  • High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work.
  • Proven experience using communication and organizational skills to accomplish goals.


Experience/Education Preferred

  • 1-2 years of hospitality experience, preferably in vacation home management, lodging, and/or customer service.
  • Undergraduate degree in Hospitality Management or a related field from an accredited University.

Certificates & Licenses

  • Valid US Driver’s License
  • All drivers must be at least 19 years old with 3 years of driving experience.

Computer Skills

  • Proficiency working with basic technology, including smartphones, computers, and email.
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite Products


Language Ability

  • Able to speak clearly and effectively with Members, guests, co-workers, vendors and other Yellowstone Club departments. Able to write clearly and legibly.

Math Ability

  • Able to perform basic math calculations.


Reasoning Ability

  • Ability to solve intermediate problems and/or know when it is necessary to get a manager to assist in problem solving.
