Your contributions will be essential to upholding our commitment to exceptional patient care through prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation.

About the Organization

Located in Tallahassee, Florida, Core Motion Orthopedic Therapy is a privately owned physical therapy practice specializing in orthopedic outpatient care. We pride ourselves on our state-of-the-art 5000 square feet sports medicine facility, engineered to facilitate cutting-edge treatment modalities. Our practice is primarily geared toward serving individuals with private medical insurance, ensuring personalized care tailored to each patient's needs. You will be part of an experienced team that includes two physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), all passionate about delivering the highest standard of care.

Work Environment

As part of our rehabilitation center, you will work onsite in a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. Our physical therapy clinic features modern treatment rooms, rehabilitation equipment, and software systems designed to streamline patient management. You will be working Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule while focusing on improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine patients' needs and establish individualized care plans that incorporate various therapeutic modalities.
  • Manage a patient load of approximately one patient per hour, providing focused and personalized care that enhances recovery.
  • Utilize evidence-based treatments to improve patients' range of motion, mobility, and overall functionality.
  • Guide patients in setting realistic and achievable health goals, and provide motivation and support throughout their rehab journey.
  • Design tailored fitness and wellness programs aimed at optimizing recovery and fostering independent living.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient assessment and treatment, contributing to a multidisciplinary care approach.
  • Thoroughly document patient interactions and treatment outcomes, maintaining compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and modify them as needed based on monitored progress.
  • Encourage a proactive approach to health by promoting lifestyle changes that improve strength, flexibility, coordination, and overall wellness.
  • Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices and contribute ideas to enhance service delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on a diverse patient population primarily consisting of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our therapists work closely with each patient, applying techniques that reduce reliance on medication and promoting alternative therapies to enhance recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher (Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred).
  • A current and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining an untarnished professional record without board or disciplinary actions.
  • Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing and implementing patient-centered exercise protocols.
  • Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is preferred, with a focus on hands-on therapeutic techniques.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience using EMR software such as WebPT to manage patient information and treatment records effectively.
  • Previous experience in a private practice environment, enhancing your understanding of personalized treatment approaches and patient management.
  • Adeptness in recognizing patient progress and adapting treatment protocols accordingly.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this role ranges between USD 90,000 and 120,000 annually, complemented with a comprehensive benefits package. This includes health insurance, retirement savings plans, and funding for continuing education initiatives, fostering your professional growth within the field.
