Work Environment

Our clinic is located in the beautiful Scotts Valley, where the inspiration from nature is woven into our practice philosophy. The onsite facility fosters a collaborative atmosphere, allowing therapists and support staff to work together seamlessly. You will primarily operate in the orthopedic outpatient setting but can occasionally engage in home care therapy, providing you with a variety of environments to enhance patient recovery. We utilize state-of-the-art tools, including the WebPT documentation system, to ensure optimal care and streamlined communication among the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver individualized care and therapeutic interventions, treating 1-2 patients per hour to ensure focused attention and quality engagement.
  • Employ evidence-based techniques and treatment modalities aimed at improving movement, functionality and reducing symptoms of pain during therapy sessions.
  • Continuously assess and adjust therapy plans based on patient progress, outcomes, and feedback.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in WebPT, navigating through patient records and treatment plans with accuracy to support clinical decisions.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to create comprehensive care plans for patients.
  • Educate patients and their families on exercises, wellness strategies, and modifications to activities of daily living, empowering them as active participants in their own recovery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The physical therapist role focuses heavily on an orthopedic patient population, addressing various musculoskeletal conditions ranging from post-operative recovery to chronic pain management. You will work with experienced patients seeking to regain their mobility and improve their functionality after injuries or surgeries. Our clinic values the importance of personalized care; thus, you will have the chance to build solid interpersonal relationships with your patients, understanding their unique challenges and aspirations.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy or higher-level equivalent from an accredited educational institution.
  • An active California Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one in a timely manner.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • A commitment to providing patient-centered care, fostering a supportive and motivating environment for rehabilitation.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional physical therapy experience, particularly in an outpatient setting, is highly preferred.
  • Experience with home health therapy can be beneficial as we occasionally provide care in patients' domiciles.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as WebPT to document patient care efficiently and accurately.
Compensation and Benefits

Your commitment and expertise will be rewarded with a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000 per year. At Complete Balance, we believe in the well-being of our employees, offering comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans that cater to your healthcare needs.
